Celebrate the 4th of July along Lake Michigan's Shoreline!

July 4 events beginning at 8am

- The 2011 Parade in Evanston, themed Sun and Fun in Evanston for Today's Youth, will start at 2pm and wind from Central Park Avenue East on Central Street. There will be various activities, such as playground sports, throughout Evanston throughout the day that offer fun for the whole family. The Twilight Concert will play from 7:30pm to 9:00pm and the Lakefront Fireworks, launched from Clark Street Beach, will start at 9:15pm!


Chicago, IL

Navy Pier Fireworks
600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago

July 2 at 9pm

- While there won’t be any fireworks in Grant Park this year, the famed Navy Pier will carry the 4th of July torch with their own fireworks display!  You’ll enjoy watching fireworks over Lake Michigan and can take part in all that Navy Pier has to offer!
Harbor County, MI
Harbor County Independence Day Celebration

- All of Harbor County is invited to take part in this free, fun-filled weekend!  From surfing, volleyball and live music, to games, sand castle building contests and much more; this weekend is a great way to take part in the Harbor County community.  Fireworks will take place on Sunday, July 3 at dusk.
